Kathmandu Metropolitan City Initiates Organized Cycle Lane and Sidewalk Expansion from Maitidevi Circle to Tinkune

Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has begun the expansion of an organized cycle lane and sidewalk from Maitidevi Circle to Tinkune.

The metropolis has made the cycle lane organized and safe, deeming the previously marked green lines on the road as risky and impractical. The cycle lane is being constructed alongside a wide sidewalk.

A safe cycle lane and organized pedestrian path are being constructed on the two-and-a-half-kilometer stretch of road from Maitidevi to the Tinkune bridge.

The metropolis has informed that the plan initiated by KMC will be expanded to other areas as well.
