Bagmati Province Chief Minister Assigns Portfolios to Three State Ministers

Hetauda. State Ministers Without Portfolio in Bagmati Province have received responsibilities. After UML separated from the ruling coalition, Chief Minister Indrabahadur Baniyan assigned responsibilities to 3 State Ministers Without Portfolio.

Chief Minister Baniyan assigned responsibilities in 3 vacant ministries out of the province's 8 ministries. He assigned Congress's State Minister Without Portfolio Binu Rayamajhi to the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, Suresh Shrestha to the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Labor and Transport, and Urmila Nepal to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Forest and Environment.

In Chief Minister Baniyan's cabinet, 3 ministers from Congress have been handling responsibilities previously. From Congress, Kanchanachandra Bade is in charge as Minister of Health and Social Development, Shivraj Adhikari as Minister of Internal Affairs, Law and Cooperatives, and Prabhat Tamang as Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning.

Chief Minister Baniyan has recommended the said work division to the Province Chief. Just on Wednesday, 6 ministers from UML resigned and withdrew their support for the government.
