President Paudel Praises Nepali Diaspora in Japan for Economic Contributions

Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Paudel has stated that Nepalis residing in Japan are making significant contributions to the Nepali economy and the social development of Nepal.

President Paudel, who is on an official visit to Japan, made these remarks while addressing a reception organized by the Nepali Embassy on Tuesday.

“I expect that in the coming days, you will contribute further to realizing the dream of a prosperous Nepal by utilizing the knowledge, skills, capital, and technology earned here in the homeland,” said President Paudel.

He stated that the Government of Nepal is committed to addressing the interests, concerns, and issues of the Nepali community engaged in various professions and activities in Japan.

He mentioned that with Nepal adopting a federal democratic republican system of governance, it is necessary to move forward at a high pace on the path to fulfilling aspirations for sustainable peace, good governance, development, and prosperity.

President Paudel emphasized that transparency, accountability, participation, and the rule of law must be central to state operation to guarantee effective service delivery to the public.

“The demand for good governance has become even more vocal through the youth movement in Nepal. Accordingly, to protect the supreme interest of the people and for the country's prosperity through good governance, the House of Representatives election is going to be held on the upcoming Falgun 21. I believe that after this election, new possibilities for stability and development in the country will open up,” President Paudel said.
