Romantic-Action Thriller 'Yeh Dil Aashiqana' to Re-release on Valentine's Day After 24 Years

Mumbai. The romantic-action thriller film 'Yeh Dil Aashiqana' is set to return to theaters. The film is being re-released coinciding with the special occasion of Valentine's Day. Released in 2002, the film is set for a re-release on February 13, 24 years later. The production house announced the release and also unveiled a new trailer for the film.

'True Entertainment Private Limited' is set to screen 'Yeh Dil Aashiqana' starting February 13. The film's director, Kukku Kohli, stated that the film was made for the big screen. He said, "I am happy that the new generation today will get a chance to watch this film just as the audience watched it in 2002."

The story of this film, starring Karan Nath and Jividha Sharma in the lead roles, revolves around the love between Karan and Pooja. When terrorists hijack the plane carrying Pooja, Karan risks his life to save her. However, he later discovers that Pooja's own brother is one of those terrorists. The film, first released on January 18, 2002, was successful at the box office due to the melodious music by Nadeem-Shravan.

Besides Karan Nath and Jividha, the film also features Aditya Pancholi, Aruna Irani, Johnny Lever, and Rajat Bedi in key roles. Shahid Kapoor's new film 'O Romeo' is also scheduled for release on February 13. These two films will clash at the box office.
