Weather Forecast: Partial Cloudiness and Moderate Rain Expected in Parts of Nepal

Currently, the upper atmosphere's western low-pressure line, local winds, and partial influence of easterly winds are present in Nepal, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division. As a result, Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, along with hilly and mountainous areas of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, are generally cloudy. Other Terai regions are mainly clear. Today afternoon, hilly and mountainous regions of the country will be generally cloudy. Terai regions of Koshi and Madhesh provinces will be partly cloudy. Terai regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces will be mainly clear. There is a possibility of moderate rain with thunderstorms in some places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi province, and in one or two places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. There is also a possibility of moderate to heavy rain with thunderstorms in one or two places in the Terai regions of Koshi and Madhesh provinces. Some places in the Terai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces, and a few places in the Terai regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, are expected to experience hot days. Tonight, Koshi province will be generally cloudy. Other hilly and mountainous regions will be partly cloudy, and other Terai regions will be mainly clear. There is a possibility of moderate rain with thunderstorms in some places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi province, and in one or two places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain with thunderstorms in a few places in the Terai region of Koshi province.
