Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal Hospitalized with Cold Symptoms

Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister and CPN Co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal has been admitted to the hospital. His secretariat stated that Nepal was admitted to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital on Wednesday after showing symptoms of cold, cough, and fever due to the cold weather.

Laxman Regmi, an aide to leader Nepal, said that although there is no complicated issue, he was admitted to the hospital following the doctor's advice and preparations are underway for his discharge on Thursday.

“He went for a check-up after experiencing a common cold, cough, fever, and difficulty breathing. He was admitted after being advised that it would be better to keep him in the hospital for one day for treatment,” Regmi said. “He is being discharged in a few hours.”
