49 Candidates Withdraw Nominations for House of Representatives Election; One Candidate Disqualified

Kathmandu. Among those who filed nominations for the House of Representatives election on Magh 6, a total of 49 candidates have withdrawn their candidacies across the country.

The Election Commission provided this information during a press conference on Friday. According to EC spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, information was received that 49 individuals withdrew their nominations.

Furthermore, the Commission stated that claims and objections were filed against 5 candidates, and the candidacy of one among them has been invalidated.

According to the Commission, the candidacy of Resham Lal Chaudhary of the Nagarik Unmukti Party Nepal has been rejected.
