Rastriya Prajatantra Party Candidate Withdraws Candidacy in Rupandehi-2

Kathmandu. Karvika Thapa, the candidate from Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) for Rupandehi-2, has withdrawn her candidacy. Thapa withdrew her candidacy on Friday.

Thapa stated that she withdrew her candidacy after accepting the provisions of the constitution. She mentioned that the delay in relinquishing her temporary residence permit due to studies abroad prompted her withdrawal.

Issuing a statement on Friday, Thapa said, "Although there were no objections or complaints, as the Rastriya Prajatantra Party requested the withdrawal of the nomination, I have made the decision to withdraw my candidacy with a big heart in accordance with the spirit and essence of the constitution."

She thanked everyone who provided her with support, cooperation, and encouragement.
