Kunsang and Upasana to Star Together in Romantic Film ‘Sumnima’
Kathmandu. The upcoming romantic film Sumnima will feature actors Kunsang Bamjan and Upasana Singh Thakuri as the lead pair. The production team has officially confirmed their casting, setting the stage for an on-screen love story. Bamjan is known for his role in Danbhi, while Thakuri has already made her mark in Nepali cinema with multiple film appearances.
Directed by Milan Chams, Sumnima is a collaborative project between Gorkha Films and Chams Entertainment. The film promises to deliver a heartfelt love story, with the rest of the cast and crew still being finalized. Director Chams shared that the movie is designed to appeal to global audiences, blending a universal narrative with cultural authenticity. The script, penned by Rajiv Thapa, will take the team to filming locations in Nepal and London this August. Chams’ recent work, Anjila, hit theaters not long ago.
