Home Minister calls for dialogue with cable car protestors

Kathmandu, March 2 — Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has called for dialogue with those protesting the construction of the cable car in Pathibhara, Taplejung.

Responding to questions raised by lawmakers in the National Assembly on Sunday, Minister Lekhak emphasized that the government is serious about addressing the concerns raised by the 'No Cable Car' group and called for them to come to the negotiation table. 

He informed that the government is ready to resolve any issues related to the cable car construction through discussions and dialogue.

Minister Lekhak also mentioned the government's commitment to maintaining peace and order in the country in a way that the public can feel. 

In connection with the death of 17-year-old Rinku Kumari Sada from Nawarajpur Rural Municipality-1, Siraha, the Minister assured that the police are conducting a serious investigation and will take action against the perpetrators.

He also expressed the government's commitment to ensuring the safety of Neha Rauniyar and Satyendra Ram, who were in a love marriage in Barhathawa, Sarlahi.
