Congress MP KC accuses bargaining in stock exchange licensing
Kathmandu, January 21 — Nepali Congress leader and Member of Parliament Arjun Narsingh KC has accused that there has been significant bargaining in the stock exchange.
In today’s meeting of the Public Accounts Committee, he stated that the issue of granting a new license for the stock exchange had come up.
He questioned, "What is the reality behind this? In a country like India, there are only two stock exchanges; why is there a need for another in a country like Nepal? Why two stock exchanges?"
KC emphasized that the Public Accounts Committee should be informed about the bargaining happening in the stock exchange.
