Two arrested on charges of rape from Setopul
Kathmandu, December 29 — A 17-year-old girl has been gang raped in Setopul, Kathmandu.
Two teenagers allegedly raped the girl by taking her to their rented room.
Both teenagers involved in the rape have been arrested by the police.
The arrested are Samrat Basnet and Saroj Mahatara, both residents of Narayan Municipality-6, Dailekh, currently residing at Setopul, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-30.
They were arrested on Saturday afternoon.
An officer from the District Police Range, Kathmandu told Ratopati that on December 24, the accused lured the girl to their rented room and raped her.
The survivor has filed a complaint with the Maligaun Police Circle regarding the incident.
