Heli Everest chopper makes emergency landing in Bhaktapur
Kathmandu, December 29 — A Heli Everest helicopter made an emergency landing in Sanga, Bhaktapur, after a bird strike.
According to Rinji Sherpa, spokesperson for Tribhuvan International Airport, the helicopter was flying when it collided with a bird, prompting the emergency landing.
There were six passengers on board, but despite the bird strike, Sherpa confirmed that there were no technical issues with the helicopter, and all passengers are safe.
The helicopter was en route from Lukla to Kathmandu.
