NC candidate elected in Runtigadhi Rural Municipality-4
Rolpa, December 1 — Bhupamani Pun Magar, the candidate of the Nepali Congress, has been elected as the chairman of Runtingadhi Rural Municipality-4 in Rolpa.
According to the public results of the local by-election held on Sunday, he secured 643 votes to emerge victorious.
According to the Election Commission, the candidate of the CPN (UML), Begam Pun, received 535 votes.
Similarly, Naraesh Jung Singh of the CPN (Maoist Center) secured 70 votes, while Pahal Bahadur Oli of the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party received 10 votes.
Out of the total 1,900 votes, 1,297 were cast, and 21 votes were invalid.
