Woman Murdered in Rautahat

Kathmandu. A woman has been murdered in Ward No.-5 of Gujara Municipality in Rautahat. On Friday, a young man murdered 45-year-old Renudevi Jaiswal. SP Sitam Rijal of Rautahat told Ratopati that she was murdered by attacking her throat with a khukuri. When the police reached the scene, the accused was sitting at the scene with a khukuri. With the help of locals, the police arrested 35-year-old Upendra Shah Kalwar, who is from Bara and lives in Gujara.

As the accused did not leave the scene with the khukuri, the locals helped the police by throwing stones to apprehend him. SP Rijal said that the accused, who was injured by the stone attack, is undergoing treatment.

The deceased woman has injuries on her neck. The police are investigating the incident.
