Rabi Lamichhane presented in court for remand extension

Pokhara, November 10 — Rabi Lamichhane, the president of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has been brought to the Kaski court today. After the deadline set by the court for investigation expired, he was presented in court again for an extension of the remand.

Along with Lamichhane, former DIG Chhabilal Joshi, Lila Pachhai, and Ram Kumar Khanal, who are also in custody in connection with a cooperative fraud case, have been brought to court for an extension of their remand. They are facing charges related to cooperative fraud, money laundering, and organized crime.

Meanwhile, RSP cadres are planning to stage a protest in Pokhara today. The party is preparing to hold a rally at the Zero point, proceeding to Wai chok.
