Nepali artists celebrate Tihar with Bhaitika (photos)

Kathmandu, November 3 — On the final day of Tihar, artists from the Nepali art scene celebrated by applying Bhaitika to their siblings.

It is a tradition for sisters to put Tika on their brothers while wishing for their long life.

Artists like Hari Bansha Acharya shared pictures of Bhaitika on social media.

This year, the Nepal Calendar Determination Committee designated the auspicious time for Bhaitika at 11:37 am. The committee also noted that Tika could be applied throughout the day after the auspicious moment.
