Government decides to promote four DIGs to AIGs

KATHMANDU, April 7: The government has decided to promote four Deputy Inspector Generals (DIG) of Nepal Police to Additional Inspector General (AIG). A minister informed Ratopati that the cabinet meeting held on Friday decided on the promotion of the DIGs to AIGs as per the recommendation made by the promotion committee.

The minister informed that DIGs Sandeep Bhandari, Sudeep Giri, Meera Chaudhary, and Tek Bahadur Tamang were promoted to AIG in the meeting. On March 27, the committee recommended to the Cabinet to promote all four DIGs to AIGs.
