Illegal hemp destroyed

Ratnanagar, Chitwan, Police have destroyed illegal hemp cultivated on large area in Lothar, a remote hamlet, in Chitwan district. 
The police pulled out the hemp plants grown on around nine bighas land at Bakhrang, Yuralitar, Kalikatar and Dhanawang and neighbouring places in Lothar. 
The District Police Office had mobilised 93 police personnel to the areas to destroy the illegal hemp cultivation as per its special security plan. The police personnel pulled out the hemp plants and destroyed it on Friday and Saturday.
