Rubi Valley sits amidst big potentials - Minister Dulal
Kathmandu - Bagmati Province Minister for Social Development, Yubaraj Dulal, has made onsite inspection of Rubi Valley rural municipality of Dhading – the most laggard district of Bagmati in the human development index. Minister Dulal visited the rural municipality and enquired information about the recent progress on the integrated development programme initiated by the Bagmati province government, the ministry sources said.
On the occasion, Minister Dulal said the Rubi Valley which is quite attractive by name has been deprived of all services and facilities of modern society. "There is no transportation, no medical service for treatment, no educational institution for pursuing education above grade 10 and no irrigation facilities," he said.
Taking this situation into consideration, the Province government has implemented an integrated development project in Rubi Valley which is replete with potentials despite laggard in development indicators, he added. "We will prepare a stocktaking report about the area soon and submit it to the concerned agency for future planning and development," Minister Dulal pledged.
