Far-Western Province Government to Unveil Budget for Fiscal Year 2083/84 Today

Dhangadhi. The Far-Western Province Government is set to unveil the budget for the fiscal year 2083/84 today. The provincial government is preparing to increase the size of the budget compared to the current fiscal year. In the current fiscal year 2082/83, the provincial government had brought a budget of 31 billion 62 crore 98 lakh rupees. The agenda to present the budget in the Provincial Assembly this afternoon has been set. Final preparations are being intensified in the ministries before the budget is unveiled. Meanwhile, when the cabinet was reshuffled a few days ago, ministers were changed in three ministries including the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Bikram Singh Dhami, who took charge as the Minister of Economic Affairs, has reviewed some priorities and programs of the budget. The budget to be presented today is expected to provide clear direction to the province's development priorities, revenue management, and infrastructure construction plans.
