Taplejung–National Assembly (NA) Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina has said necessary acts for state and local levels would be passed from NA's upcoming winter session.

His statement comes in response to complaints that state and local levels are facing problems to operate for want of acts as per the constitution.

Stressing the need for formulating necessary acts to facilitate state and local levels to operate, he said efforts in this regard have been prioritised.

He was speaking at an event to lay the foundation stone for a basic school at Mikwakhola rural municipality in Taplejung district on Saturday.

Stating that the implementation of the constitution would take place when lifestyle of the people uplifts, the NA Chair also pointed out the need for the governments of all federal, state and local levels to devise sustainable and result-oriented plans and act accordingly for the development of the country.

He reached Taplejung as part of his visit to Pathivara Temple.
