Ruling alliance to allow govt to table MCC in parliament

KATHMANDU, Feb 19: The ruling alliance has reached an agreement to allow the government to table the Millennium Corporate Challenge in Sunday’s House of Representatives (HoR) meeting.
A meeting of the alliance held earlier this morning took the decision in this regard.
Following the ruling alliance decision, the Business Advisory Committee will include the MCC in the schedule of today's HoR meeting.
Even if the ruling alliance has reached an agreement to allow the government to table the MCC in parliament, key members CPN (Maoist Center) and CPN (Unified Socialist) have maintained that they won’t support the government to ratify it.
