Flood traps 50 in Kusunti garage

Kathmandu, September 28 — Flooding has trapped 50 people in a garage in Kusunti, Lalitpur.

The army, armed police, and local police have been deployed for their rescue. They are stranded due to the flood from the Nakhu River.

So far, five individuals have been rescued, according to DSP Chitra Bhattarai from the Satdobato Police Circle, who informed Ratopati.

Those trapped are urging for help from atop makeshift shelters and the roof of a bus.
