Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha to negotiate with teachers

KATHMANDU, Sep 21: The government has assigned the responsibility of negotiating with the protesting teachers to the Home Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister, Narayankaji Shrestha. 

The Deputy Prime Minister and the Defense Minister, Purna Bahadur Khadka, informed that Shrestha was given the responsibility to negotiate with the teachers after the teachers refused to negotiate with the Education Minister.

Khadka, who is also the Acting Prime Minister, said in the Central Committee meeting of the Congress - "The negotiation with the teachers has started today under the leadership of the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister. The government is taking the lead to find a solution."
