HoR meeting to be adjourned until Friday

KATHMANDU, July 5: The House of Representatives meeting will be adjourned until the 7th of June. The meeting will be held at 3 pm on Friday afternoon.

The House of Representatives meeting was adjourned for 30 minutes after the opposition party CPN UML decided to obstruct the meeting on Wednesday afternoon.

A notice was posted informing of the decision to adjourn the meeting after Chief Whips of the political parties couldn't come to an agreement to hold the meeting.

The opposition party CPN UML has demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' protesting the controversial expression by the Prime Minister. CPN UML has claimed to obstruct the House of Representatives and National Assembly meetings until the PM resigns from his post.
