2 arrested with illegal weapons

RAUTAHAT, June 17: Two people have been arrested with illegal weapons in Rautahat on Saturday. 65-year-old Mohan Raya and 45-year-old Umesh Raya of Sarlahi Malangawa were among the arrested, DSP Umashankar Yadav of Rautahat Police informed.
According to DSP Yadav, the police team found 1 barrel pistol and 1 bullet under the seat of a motorcycle with Indian number UP 50 N 3238 during a checking at Maulapur Bazar IT Chowk on Friday evening.
The illegal weapons have been seized and the two people are under arrest according to Rautahat District Police Office. Further investigation is underway on the subject, they informed.
