Fire in sweet shop destroyed properties worth over Rs 300,000

Saptari - Property worth over Rs 300,000 was destroyed when a sweet shop at Chinnamasta Rural Municipality-3 in Saptari district caught fire on Wednesday. 

The fire triggered when a LPG cylinder exploded inside the shop owned by Ganga Ram Shah, according to the District Police Office, Saptari. 

Another sweet shop adjacent to Shah's shop also caught fire, incurring loss, victim Ramnath Shah said. The fire was doused by locals and security personnel.
