Motorcyclist dies in road mishap

Ratnanagar–A motorcyclist died and two others were injured in a road mishap at Khairahani municipality-1 of Chitwan district along east-west highway this morning. 


The deceased has been identified as Hom Bahadur Magar, 40, of Jugedi municipality-8 of Sindhuli district. 
The accident took place when a truck (Na 4 Kha 9989) heading towards west from east hit a motorcycle (Ga 14 Pa 5572) at Khairahani municipality-9, said police. 


The pillion riders—Komali Magar, wife of Hom Bahadur and his eight-year-old son, Lila Bahadur, were injured in the incident. They are receiving treatment at Bharatpur-based Old Medical College, said Chief of District Police Office, Chitwan, Sushil Singh Rathore. 


The health condition of the injured is normal. Search for the absconding driver was underway, added police.
