Free Health Camp Organized in Nagarjun Municipality

Kathmandu. A free health camp has been operated in Nagarjun Municipality-4 with the joint organization of the Pakistani Embassy in Nepal and Pakistan Nepal Alumni Network (PNAN).

Health services were provided to local residents, senior citizens, women, and children in the camp. Doctors who completed their studies from Pakistan were actively involved in the camp.

More than one hundred patients were examined in the camp. Some patients have been referred to specialist hospitals for further treatment, and necessary medicines were distributed free of cost.

PNAN President Dr. Deepak Mishra, Nagarjun Municipality Deputy Mayor Sushila Adhikari, Ward No. 4 Chairman Laxmiram Sharma, and local representatives and volunteers were present at the program.

The Pakistani Embassy has expressed gratitude to the PNAN doctors and local bodies who helped make the health camp successful. Speaking at the program, Deputy Mayor Sushila Adhikari thanked the Pakistani Embassy and PNAN for organizing a free health camp for the residents of Nagarjun.

Similarly, PNAN President Dr. Mishra praised the support provided by the Pakistani Embassy in Nepal's health sector and expressed confidence that such programs would further strengthen the people-to-people relations between the two countries.
