Lions Club International Foundation to provide USD 100,000 to college

Damauli–The Lions Club International Foundation is to assist 100,000 US Dollars to the Adikabi Bhanubhakta Campus for constructing a science laboratory. The campus is located at Bhadgaon, Byas Municipality-1 of Tanahu district. It is a community college. 

The science lab block would be a four-storey building with an area of 1,700 square metres. Its construction would be completed within mid-March 2020. Before this also, the Club had provided 50,000 US Dollars for the construction of the campus building. 

Chairman of the Campus Management Committee Ram Chandra Basnet said the lab would contribute to enhancing the education standard at the campus and a foundation for the technical education has been established with this. "The Lions Club has provided the assistance and we are very grateful for this." 

The science lab would be constructed at a cost of Rs 24 million. The local government, the state government and the federal government would be urged for the remaining cost, Campus chief Maha Prasad Hadkhale said.
