Fire guts property worth over Rs 16 million in Mustang

Mustang –A huge amount of property was gutted when a house caught fire in Mustang this morning. 
According to the District Police Office, the property worth more than Rs 16 million was gutted when a two-storey house of Mim Prasad Thakali of Gharpajhong rural municipality-4 caught fire.

 
Police said that all the goods including clothes, food kept inside the house were damaged by the fire. Similarly, Darshan furniture shop run by Sagar Nepali at the same house was also completely damaged by the fire. 

Security Personnel and locals brought the fire under control after three hours effort. Member of Gandaki Province Assembly, Chandra Mohan Gauchan, said that arrangement of relief would be made to the victims through District Disaster Management Committee and Provincial Government's Fund.
