Tanahu – An Indian woman died due to hypothermia at Damauli this morning. The victim is 60-year-old Kudki Chauhan of Akela Mugurkumbh, India.
She had come as a street vendor in the third Indigenous Nationalities Tanahun Cultural and Tourism Festival that started in Damauli from November 16. It is stated that Kudki used to cook and spend nights in the open ground.
Her youngest son Muguraut Chauhan said that his mother moght have died due to excessive cold. The District Police Office, Tanahu said that suffering from pneumonia and diabetes since long, she died of hypothermia.
