Congress Parliamentary Party Leader Angdembe Meets Speaker Aryal

Kathmandu. A meeting was held between the leader of the main opposition party Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party, Bhishma Raj Angdembe, and Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal.

Discussions were held on the current political situation, parliamentary proceedings, and recent national events during the meeting held at the Speaker's office in Singhdarbar on Tuesday afternoon.

During the meeting, leader Angdembe drew the Speaker's attention to the violent incident in Sunsari, stating that effective initiatives are necessary to maintain peace and security in the country. He also raised the issue that both the parliament and the government need to take serious initiatives to make the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation work effective for citizens affected by natural disasters such as floods and landslides in Panchthar and various other parts of the country.

Similarly, Angdembe also drew the Speaker's attention to the incident where health workers took to the streets after being subjected to mistreatment at Narayani Hospital. His secretariat stated that he urged for necessary initiatives to ensure the security of health workers and create an environment for the regular operation of health services.
