Jhapa Small Industries Office Collects Rs 2.41 Crore Revenue in FY 2082/83

Jhapa. The Domestic and Small Industries Office Jhapa has collected revenue of Rs 2,41,61,150 in the last fiscal year 2082/83 through new industry registration and service delivery.

According to the office's Information Officer Janaki Bhattarai, 586 new domestic and small industries were registered in the office in the last fiscal year. Among them, the largest number, 302, were service-oriented industries. Similarly, 147 were production-oriented, 133 were agriculture and forest-based, 3 were information technology-related, and one was energy-based industry.

Of the total revenue collected by the office, Rs 1,98,14,050 was from administrative service fees, Rs 42,82,100 from business registration fees, and Rs 65,000 was received from the sale of government property, informed Information Officer Bhattarai.
