Iran Reports 4 Deaths in US Airstrikes Across Several Regions

Tehran. Iranian state media reported that at least 4 people were killed in airstrikes carried out by the United States in various regions of Iran on Friday morning. 

According to Iranian state television Press TV, 4 people were killed in an alleged US airstrike in Ahvaz city in the western coastal province of Khuzestan. Some people were injured in the incident. 

The incident is yet to be independently confirmed. 

State news agency IRNA reported that missiles were also fired in areas near the cities of Andimeshk and Omidiyeh in the same province.

Two missiles were reportedly fired in the outer area of Khondab city in Markazi province in central Iran. According to the deputy governor of the province, efforts are underway to collect details of the damage and potential casualties at the scene. 

Similarly, IRNA reported that a missile fell in Khorramabad city in Lorestan province. Relevant authorities are assessing the damage and potential casualties there.

Iranian state broadcaster IRIB reported that two people were injured in another attack in the port city of Bandar Abbas in the southern Hormozgan province.
