Russian Company Hosts Bizarre Toilet Drinking Competition

Moscow. A plumbing company in Russia's Stavropol city has become widely discussed on social media after organizing a unique competition to drink beverages from a toilet seat. The competition, named 'Game of Thrones', involved participants drinking non-alcoholic sparkling beverages placed in a new toilet bowl using a long straw as quickly as possible. The competitor who finished the beverage first was declared the winner. Dozens of people participated in the competition held at Domix Store in Stavropol. A prize of one lakh rubles (approximately 1,276 US dollars) was announced for the winner. Participants were divided into groups of seven, and the fastest drinker from each group advanced to the second round. The seven finalists faced the challenge of staying seated on a closed toilet seat for as long as possible. The person who got up last was declared the final winner of the competition. According to the organizers, only two participants gave up midway in the competition that lasted for about 10 hours, while other participants continued the competition by controlling their physical needs. Information on who won the prize of one lakh rubles has not been made public. After the video of this unique competition went viral on social media, many users criticized it. Many protested, calling it an insulting activity and against the dignity of the participants.
