Prime Minister Balen Shah to Discuss Garment Industry Issues with Association Officials

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balen Shah is scheduled to hold discussions with the officials of the Nepal Ready-made Garment Association today. 

The meeting, which will begin at 11:30 AM at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, will be attended by the association's Chairman Pashupatideva Pandey, First Vice-Chairman Basantaraj Adhikari, General Secretary Bhimkumari Giri, Chief Executive Officer Suyash Khnal, and Technical Advisor Prakashkumar Jha. 

The discussion will focus on the current state of the ready-made garment industry, the problems faced by the industry, promotion of production and export, job creation, and the overall development of the industry sector. 

In recent days, Prime Minister Shah has been continuously engaging in dialogue with the private sector, industrialists-businessmen, and concerned bodies, seeking suggestions on the problems they face, solutions, and policy reforms, and giving necessary instructions to the relevant bodies for implementation.
