US Vice President's Wife Gives Birth to Fourth Child

Washington DC. US Vice President JD Vance and his wife Usha Vance have had a son as their fourth child. Vice President Vance informed through social media on Sunday morning that his son Alec Neil Vance was born.< p>

Vance said, 'Usha and the baby are both happy and healthy, and our children are very excited to meet their little brother.' He also thanked the military doctors and staff at Walter Reed Medical Center for their care.< p>

According to the Associated Press, this is the first time in more than 150 years that a child has been born to a sitting Vice President during their term. The couple already has three children: nine-year-old Evan, six-year-old Vivek, and four-year-old Mirabel.< p>

Usha Vance (Chilukuri) was born and raised in a middle-class suburb of San Diego, California. She was born to a father who immigrated to America from Andhra Pradesh, India, and a mother who is a molecular biologist. JD Vance met her in 2010 while studying at Yale Law School.< p>

Vice President JD Vance was among the leading figures in the Trump administration advocating for an increase in the birth rate in the US. In his recently published book, he mentioned that Usha was initially reluctant to have another child, but her views changed last year after the assassination of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk.< p>
