RSP Leader Hikmat Jung Karki Meets Young Republicans Chairman Hayden Padgett in Dallas, United States

Dallas, Texas: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Hikmat Jung Karki held a meeting with Hayden Padgett, Chairman of the Young Republicans, in Dallas, Texas, United States, to discuss strengthening Nepal–United States relations and expanding political cooperation. Padgett is a prominent young Republican leader who has been supportive of President Donald Trump’s political movement.

During the meeting, Karki briefed Padgett on RSP’s vision, the priorities of the Government of Nepal, and the country’s emphasis on economic growth, foreign direct investment (FDI), private sector development, entrepreneurship, and job creation. He noted that Nepal and the United States have enjoyed a long-standing and friendly relationship and expressed Nepal’s interest in further deepening bilateral cooperation.

The two leaders also discussed the importance of establishing party-to-party relations between the Rastriya Swatantra Party and the Republican Party. Karki stated that he would initiate discussions with the RSP leadership upon his return to Nepal to explore the possibility of establishing a formal and long-term institutional relationship between the two parties.

The meeting concluded with both sides expressing their commitment to maintaining dialogue and promoting cooperation based on democratic values, mutual respect, and shared interests.
