Guest House constructed at Pathibhara area

Pashupatinagar –Finally after six years of construction process, a modern Guest House named 'Atithi Sadan' has come into operation in the religious tourist spot- Pathibhara area- in eastern part of Ilam district.

The Pathibhara Conservation Organization has built a six-room guest house at Rong Rural Muncipality-3 in the district at the cost of Rs 10.5 million.

The money was collected from the offerings and donations made by the visitors and pilgrims visiting this ancient Temple situated at the elevation of 3,750 metres above the sea level, shared Organization's Chairperson Daulat Rai.

The guest house which has a huge hall, one office room and four rooms for lodging would provide food and accommodation to the pilgrims visiting the famous Pathibhara Temple at a reasonable price, according to Rai.

The Temple of Devi (Goddess) Pathibhara is considered one of the 'Shakti Peeths' (holy shrines) where around 150,000 visitors from Nepal, India, Bhutan and other countries flock annually on average to pay obeisance to the Goddess, shared Organization's Secretary Dilip Rai.
