Elderly people honoured

Nepalgunj –  Local elderly people were honoured Monday on the occasion of the International Senior Citizen Day. 

Province-5’s Social Development Minister, Sudarshan Baral honoured 22 elderly people of the Helpless Senior Citizen Service Centre based in Nilsagar, Nepalgunj by offering them with shawls. 

On the occasion, Nepalgunj sub-metropolis Mayor Dr Dhawal Shumsher Rana felicitated Centre’s Chairperson Sarita Khanal as the outstanding social campaigner. 

At the programme, 35 donors were also honoured in recognition of their continuous contributions to the Centre. ---
