Far-Western University Forms Committees to Investigate Irregularities

Kathmandu. Far-Western University has formed various committees to investigate irregularities under the university. 

The executive council meeting of the university held on Ashad 24 has formed committees to investigate the misuse of study leave, embezzlement of university land, and scholarship-related issues. 

Under this, an अध्ययन समिति (study committee) has been formed under the convenership of Prof. Dr. Rajendra Prasad Bhatta to investigate and submit a report regarding study leave. Similarly, a छानबिन समिति (investigation committee) has been formed under the convenership of Prof. Yagyaraj Pathak to study, research, and investigate the land in the name of the university and constituent campuses. 

As per the decision of the meeting held on the same day, a कार्यविधि निर्माण समिति (procedure formulation committee) has been formed under the convenership of Dean of Management Faculty Keshavraj Bhatta to make the 10 percent scholarship provided by the constituent campuses of the university transparent and manage it, the Ministry of Education has informed. 

The process of calling for electronic bids for the academic and administrative buildings of the Central Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Central Department of Education, Central Department of General Science, Central Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, and Central Department of Law of Far-Western University has been completed. 

It is said that these decisions were made after the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Far-Western University, Prof. Dr. Kishandatta Bhatta, took office.
