New Buspark Bustles as Highways Reopen After Rain

Kathmandu. With the reopening of various highways including the Prithvi Highway, which were obstructed due to continuous rain, activity has started to increase at Kathmandu's New Buspark.

Due to continuous rain since last night, long-distance vehicles and passengers were stranded as main roads including the Prithvi Highway were obstructed. Since the highway reopened around 10 AM today, stranded vehicles have started departing towards their destinations.

With the reopening of the highway, long-distance buses have started departing from the New Buspark. The passenger rush at the buspark has also started to increase, and ticket counters and departure areas are once again looking busy.

According to transport entrepreneurs, regular services are expected to gradually become easier once the highway is fully operational. However, as the road condition is weak in some places, vehicles are being operated with caution.
