Samata School Initiates Cultural Preservation Programs for Students

Bhojpur. Samata School of Bhojpur has taken special initiative for the preservation and promotion of cultural traditions with the objective of connecting students not only to textbooks but also to life-useful knowledge and indigenous culture.

The school has been providing practical knowledge about local art, culture, tradition, and lifestyle to students through various programs. The school's head teacher, Muna Pandey, said that cultural classes, folk dance, folk songs, costume displays, traditional sports, and awareness programs related to festivals, which are conducted from time to time in the school, have developed a sense of pride in their indigenous identity among the students. Through extracurricular activities, students are given knowledge about traditional culture, lifestyle, and attire.

School Management Committee Chairman Suman Pradhan said that such programs have been prioritized as the preservation of संस्कार (sanskar - values/culture) and culture is as important as modern education.

He said that the school has emphasized cultural education with the goal of providing knowledge about संस्कार (sanskar - values/culture) and identity to the new generation from a young age.
