Bagmati University to Launch Four New Graduate Programs

Hetauda. Bagmati University, which is attracting students and parents by making the examination system effective with various new programs, is going to conduct graduate level classes in four more subjects this year.

The university is going to conduct graduate level classes in Computer Engineering, BALLB, BHM, and BPM subjects from this year, informed Prof. Dr. Chandramani Poudel, Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees.

The university started graduate level classes in Management and Law, Science and Technology, and Education and Social Sciences faculties from last year, and published the results of the first semester of all three faculties within a week.

He said that in addition to the graduate level classes in various subjects, graduate classes will be conducted in four more subjects from this year. "Among the subjects added to the graduate level this year, BHM will be taught at Hetauda Campus, Computer Engineering at Kapan Campus, BALLB at Janamaitri Campus, and BPM at Bhuwani Shankar Campus, and applications have been invited for this," he said.

Chairman Prof. Dr. Poudel informed that 50 students will be admitted to BALLB and 40 students each to other subjects among the added subjects. The university has prepared 14 curricula for various subjects so far and is preparing to conduct postgraduate level classes from this year.

In accordance with the constitutional responsibility of higher education at the provincial level, the university was established on Jestha 25, 2081 BS. The constituent campuses under the university include Madi Campus Chitwan, Hetauda Campus Makwanpur, Janamaitri Campus Kathmandu, Bhuwani Shankar Campus Chitwan, Chaitanya Campus Kavrepalanchok, and Kapan Campus Kathmandu. A total of 550 students are currently studying in all the constituent campuses of the university.
