Two Die in Landslide While Grinding Flour in Kalikot

Kalikot. Two people died in a landslide while going to grind flour in Kalikot. The deceased have been identified as Lal Bahadur Saud and Mandir Saun of Sannitribeni Rural Municipality-6. According to Parvati Singh, Vice-Chairperson of Sannitribeni Rural Municipality, they had gone to the water mill located at Bhuwaripata in the same ward on Monday to grind flour. Police said that the water mill along with them was buried when a landslide suddenly came from above. Singh also stated that a team of locals and the Mehalmudi Police Post had reached the scene and were engaged in rescue efforts. Further details about the incident are yet to be ascertained.
