Journalists' Federation Expresses Concern Over Obstruction at Media Offices

Kathmandu. The Federation of Nepali Journalists has expressed serious concern over suspicious vehicles being parked at the gates of various media offices, obstructing journalists and creating terror in their work.

A statement issued by the Federation on Monday mentioned that vehicles were found parked at the gate of Kantipur Publication in Tinkune, OnlineKhabar in New Baneshwor, and Himalaya Television in Mid Baneshwor from 7 AM, creating problems for journalists' movement.

The Federation has demanded that the obstruction be removed immediately and the security of media personnel and media houses be ensured. It has also drawn the attention of the relevant bodies to immediately investigate the incident and take necessary legal action against the culprits.

The statement also mentioned that coordination is underway with the security bodies to remove the obstruction.
