Nepali Embassy in Bangkok to Organize Passport Renewal Camp in Cambodia

Bangkok. The Nepali Embassy in Bangkok is going to organize a passport renewal camp targeting Nepalis residing in Cambodia. The embassy is organizing the camp on the upcoming June 24, Wednesday, at the NRN NCC office in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The camp will be in operation from 12 PM to 6 PM. 

Those who wish to renew their electronic passport 'e-passport' must fill out the online application form by visiting the Passport Department's website 'https://emrtds.nepalpassport.gov.np/'. When filling out the form, one must select 'NE, Bangkok' as the appointment location and set the date and time. 

Even if the selected date is not available, the embassy has stated that services can be obtained from the camp by choosing any date. After filling out the form, a PDF with a barcode must be downloaded at the end. This form, along with photocopies of the passport and citizenship, must be sent to the embassy's email '[email protected]' before June 23, 2026, for verification. Applicants must be present in person at the designated time and place to receive the service. 

When going to the camp, applicants must bring a printout of the online form along with their original citizenship and passport. In the case of minors, a minor identity card, along with the citizenship, passport, and marriage registration certificate of the father and mother, will be required. In the case of needing a new passport due to loss, the police report must also be submitted compulsorily in addition to these documents. 

Different revenues have been set for passport renewal according to age and condition. For minors under 10 years of age, the fee will be 40 US dollars, and for all those above 10 years, it will be 80 US dollars. Similarly, in the case of lost, torn, or burnt passports, 120 US dollars will have to be paid.
