Shikhar Insurance Claims Record Premium Collection in FY 2082-83

Kathmandu. Shikhar Insurance Company Limited, a leading non-life insurance company of Nepal, has claimed to have set a record in the Nepali non-life insurance sector by collecting a total insurance premium of 6 billion 11 crore rupees in the current fiscal year 2082–83.

The company has stated that this achievement has contributed to expanding the scope of Nepal's insurance sector, increasing insurance penetration, and further strengthening the country's economic risk management.

The company, which has been prioritizing the expansion of insurance access, development of innovative insurance plans, and quality service delivery since its establishment, stated that it is currently providing services through 131 branch offices spread across all 77 districts. The company claims this has played a significant role in financial inclusion and expanding insurance access.
